First and foremost, I am a storyteller. My dedication to this craft brought me to Virginia Tech, where I earned a degree in Multimedia Journalism and Cinema with a minor in Sociology.

 

Whether it's conceptualizing projects, filming on set, recording and producing sound, editing, or creating animations, I have immersed myself in the many facets of video production. My works include Documentaries, Films, Podcasts, and much 

more.

 

In addition to my video work,  I also have experience in photography, graphic design and social media curation. As someone who is well-versed in many forms of Multimedia content, my passion for storytelling trumps all else. This passion has allowed me to flourish in multiple different avenues—a path that I hope to continue on.

PRODUCER FOR HOTBED COMEDY CLUB

  • Capture and edit photos/videos for social media.

  • Run lights and sound while ensuring a smooth show.

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR/ASSISTANT EDITOR FOR “THE BUNNY MAN” FEATURE FILM

  • Assisted with camera operation, cinematography, editing, sound, and film direction, which contributed to the project's overall creative vision and execution.

  • Played a crucial role in planning and managing production days, ensuring smooth operations for the cast and crew. Assisted in location scouting as well as budgeting for the project.

  • Responsible for keeping the Director on schedule while maximizing scene coverage to effectively capture all the necessary footage.

  • Expanded my visual technique and production skills, enhancing my storytelling abilities and gaining confidence as a filmmaker. 

FREELANCE ENTERTAINMENT WRITER AND PHOTOGRAPHER FOR THE ROANOKE TIMES

  • Wrote and published entertainment articles, including author profiles, film reviews, event coverage, and feature stories.

  • Successfully met tight deadlines, becoming a quick and effective writer.

  • Captured professional-grade photographs to complement articles.

CAMERA OPERATOR FOR THE VIRGINIA TECH ATHLETICS​

  • On-field/court camera operator for the Football and Basketball departments.

  • Responsible for capturing critical moments during live sporting events.

  • Assisted Virginia Tech’s Library in archiving past footage.  

COMMUNICATION INTERN FOR PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY GOVERNMENT

  • Produced captivating graphics, crafted social media advertisements, edited videos, and captured photos at county events to enhance engagement.

  • Monitored audience analytics, providing valuable insights to improve social media campaigns.

  • Collaborated with county offices to coordinate events and communicate essentialinformation to constituents.

  • Assisted in a re-election campaign, gaining valuable experience in networking,
    effectively communicating platform messaging, and engaging in on-the-ground campaigning.

  • Utilized experience in politics to refine my communication skills and establish deeper personal connections with the community.

VIDEO MANAGER FOR HAKEEM JEFFRIES FOR CONGRESS

  • Develop and produce videos that support strategic goals

  • Lead the filming, editing, animation and delivery of video content across all social media channels.

  • Travel with Leader Jeffries as needed to film on-the-ground events

  • Monitor daily news and political coverage to quickly disseminate on-camera moments

  • Coordinate with digital, comms and policy teams to ensure alignment on messaging and priorities

  • Build and maintain relationships with influencers, media partners and digital allies to expand reach. 

  • Serve as a trusted video content advisor to Leader Jeffries and committee leadership.

  • Collaborate with the DCCC press team to generate video content in line with earned media campaigns
